Sheryl Tschimpke, CPA – Assurance Partner

Sheryl is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with over twenty-five years of both public accounting and private industry experience. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an Accounting concentration from the University of North Florida. Sheryl began her career in the U.S. Navy where she was responsible for financial reporting for her unit in Mayport, Florida. After leaving the military, Sheryl worked at the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce as accounting manager. In 1998, Sheryl left the Chamber to pursue a career in public accounting. Sheryl worked at Ennis, Pellum & Griggs, PA before relocating to Shreveport, Louisiana where she worked at Heard, McElroy & Vestal LLP. Upon Sheryl’s return to the Jacksonville area in 2005, she joined Pivot CPAs.

Along with her client service experience with both private and SEC registrant companies, Sheryl specializes in the construction, transportation logistics, retail and wholesale distribution, manufacturing, and nonprofit industries. Sheryl also provides audits of employee benefit pension plans.

Sheryl is a board member for the Construction Accounting Network and serves as the chair for Associated Builders & Contractors Women’s Executive Committee for the Florida First Coast Chapter. Sheryl also serves on the finance committee for the ACE Mentor Program of Northeast Florida actively working with architecture, construction, and engineering industry professionals to develop the next generation’s workforce.

Sheryl is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is an active member of the Jacksonville community. Sheryl is a volunteer instructor for Junior Achievement of Northeast Florida.
